1-PURPOSE

The policy of UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) regarding the collection, use, transmission, management and protection of personal data is subject to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). This regulation guarantees natural persons access, modification, restitution and deletion of their data and compels institutions to collect and prove the informed consent of individuals, guarantee the security of all collected, processed and stored data, and finally document protection measures and procedures.

2-DATA COLLECTION AND USE

UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) collects and may use clients’ personal data (such as name, date of birth, e-mail address, phone number) for the following purposes (non-exhaustive list):

• Registration for a class by e-mail, phone or online on the website www.laureberardi.com; 
• Organization of Pilates courses;
• Creation of the client’s account (“My account”) on the website www.laureberardi.com; 
• Sending of information by e-mal concerning the activities of the studio UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi);
• Sending of training materials as part of the class by e-mail;
• Communication and consulting with the client;
• Sending of documents as part of a first registration (medical certificate or discharge)

3-CONSENT 

Clients explicitly consent to the collection and processing of data during their first registration for a class. Any new registration for a course implies full acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

4-DATA MANAGEMENT AND PROTECTION

4-1 DATA SECURITY

UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) is committed to:

• Implement appropriate security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, particularly when the processing of data involves the transmission or storage on or in a network.
• Notify the people involved in the event of accidental or unauthorized access to their data that could lead to damage or harm. 

4-2 RIGHTS OF ACCESS, MODIFICATION, RESTITUTION, DELETION, CORRECTION AND WITHDRAWAL

Clients have the right to access and review personal data concerning themselves. By logging in to their personal account “My account”, which is available on the website www.laureberardi.com, clients can freely access whenever they want to the personal data UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) has collected about them. A modification or correction is always possible if necessary by connecting to their account with login and password.

4-3 DATA STORAGE AND DELETION

UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) agrees to make every effort to destroy or anonymize documents containing personal data as soon as it can be considered that:

• The purpose for which the data was collected no longer requires its storage.
• Storage of the data is no longer necessary for legal or management reasons.

The retention period for clients’ personal data is 6 months from the date of the last course for which the client registered.

4-4  DATA SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES

Personal data may be transmitted by UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) to third parties which are service providers (accounting agency, IT service providers for the management of the website www.laureberardi.com).

UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) will share this data only in order to obtain the necessary services from these third parties and for non-commercial purposes.

UBUNTU Pilates & Care (Pilates Laure Berardi) signs contracts to ensure that third parties use the data solely for the purpose of providing the service and take adequate precautions to protect the data.
