Pilates is a physical activity that relies on your own physical and mental resources. It can be practiced as a “healing tool” to support your therapeutic or rehabilitation journey. Classical Pilates, combined with the De Gasquet® APoR B method, or Rose Pilates exercises, (which are specifically suited for breast cancer victims), will help you better prepare or regain power over your body at your own pace, while benefiting from personalized support.

Take care of yourself

Pilates exercises use the deep abdominal muscles, focusing on the whole body’s alignment, as well as breathing. Carried out on mat or on special apparatus, this physical awakening system reinforces your posture, soothes tensions, and develops precision in movement. Pilates can be practiced at any age, on its own, or as a complement to another physical activity. It allows you to reshape your body, and gain in living comfort, fluidity, and well-being.

The Pilates method is a perfect complement to the practice of another physical activity. Pilates exercises help you develop precision in movement and improve your athletic performances, while working on strengthening your core, which is the dynamic base of any sport. For sedentary people, or those who work for long periods in a seated position, Pilates training allows you to work on your muscle balance and posture, and release tension in your body.

Laure, your personal Pilates teacher

“Help others” and “Listen to your own body” _ these two callings have always guided my professional and life path.

As a trained nurse and Certified Pilates teacher (Lineage Comprehensive Teaching Program Jacqueline Martin), I have been supporting women
and men day after day on their way to physical and mental fulfillment
for the past 4 years.

I offer private Pilates classes for all levels in my private studio and online.

They tried Pilates, and they loved it!

I am 49 years old, have 3 boys and a sporty husband. I have to stay in shape. While I was completing training to become a yoga teacher, I discovered Pilates with Laure. It is a very interesting complement in terms of muscle strengthening.

Two years ago I contacted Laure because I had breathing problems… Thanks to her listening skills and her kindness, Laure made me work without pushing me too hard. The individual sessions helped me develop my body consciousness and reinforce my self-confidence. Today I am willing to train Pilates more intensively and I even consider swimming and fast walking.

Before meeting Laure I did not know anything about Pilates. I gave it a try, and after three years I became a huge fan. Pilates helped me correct my bad postures and work on my deep muscles, even those I never heard
about before.

I am usually fonder of cardio training, but I was very surprised by how the Pilates method is efficient for staying in shape and feeling good. Prenatal sessions are a good comprise, as we work both on our body and mental health in order to get prepared for childbirth. I was looking for concrete and personalized advice for taking care of my body and relieving pregnancy-related aches and pains, and I found everything I needed with Laure, who has a true sense of commitment.
